THE GREAT NUT PROBLEM
There Are Too Many Photographs.
Elder Vance has spent decades collecting photographs from mountains, valleys, roads, barns, rocks, rivers, adventures, faces hidden in stone, and places where ordinary squirrels apparently never thought to look.
The squirrels examined the archive.
They counted the photographs.
Then they counted again.
There were still too many.
“We have encountered a serious nut-storage problem.”
“Those aren’t nuts,” said Calliope.
“We know,” said the squirrels. “They’re photographs.”
“And?”
“We don’t know where to put them.”

Elder Vance looked over the photographic archive.
Calliope looked over Elder Vance.
The squirrels looked at both of them.
Elder Vance asked:
“What do you intend to do with them?”
Calliope replied:
The squirrels immediately formed a committee.
Nobody knows who authorized the committee.
The committee has already ordered stationery.
THE SQUIRRELS DISCOVER THE ARCHIVE
Five photographs were placed on the table.
The squirrels became suspicious.
THE DISCOVERY
“We have examined the evidence. This is, in fact, a photograph.”
THE ROCK
“Why would anyone buy a photograph of a rock?” asked the Rock Squirrel.
THE BARN
“Because apparently someone has excellent taste in barns,” said the Art Squirrel.
THE ADVENTURE
“This one should probably be on a wall.”
THE HIDDEN IMAGE
“Wait. There’s something else in this photograph.”
THE BEAVERS TAKE THE PLANS
The squirrels had photographs.
The squirrels had customers.
The squirrels did not have a distribution system.
This is where the beavers entered the story.

Constructs the market.
THE ENGINEER
Connects photographs to products.
THE DISTRIBUTOR
Connects customers with fulfillment partners.
PHOTOGRAPH → CATALOG → PRODUCT → FULFILLMENT PARTNER → CUSTOMER
The customer chooses the product. The appropriate fulfillment partner handles the order. ADVANCEKINGDOM becomes the organized marketplace.
The beavers looked at the plans.
They nodded.
Then they built another bridge.
Nobody knows why.
